Few days back, the break up of popular TV couple shocked the entire industry and their fans. They were in a relationship for almost 6 years and were living in together.
The two actors met on the sets of popular Ekta Kapoor TV show ‘Pavitra Rishta‘ and hitted off instantly. Soon they fell in love and got into relationship.
They were also seen in ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja‘ and hit heads over heels in love with each other. Soon, Sushant left the TV show to try his luck in Bollywood. In his days of struggle, Ankita continued to make money and supported him through thick and thin.
Sushant got a break in “Kai Po Che” and in the meanwhile Ankita continued to work in the TV show. Sushant tasted success in ‘Kai Po Che” and managed to bag a few more movies. With “PK“, he got a widespread appreciation and also got selected to play the role of Dhoni in Dhoni’s biopic.
While Ankita’s popular show ended and she started exploring her career in Bollywood as well. However, she had to let go of some projects for sake of Sushant.
In January, the couple announced that they are getting hitched in December 2016. Suddenly, within a month of that, rumours of their break up started coming up.
There were also rumours of Sushant’s affair with Kriti Sanon and news also came up that Ankita Lokhande is alcoholic. Sushant kept mum while Ankita denied these rumors.
For a long time, Sushant did not speak up, and one after the other allegations against Ankita kept cropping up. It was only after months that Sushant spoke up on twitter on 4th May. That is when he declared his breakup on twitter.

According to his tweet, he called all those allegations against him and Ankita as false. Some reports even said that the real reason for their break up was Sushant’s reluctance to commitment. While Ankita wanted marriage and kids, Sushant was not ready for it.
However, despite these denial tweets, reports on Sushant and Kriti Sanon’s increasing proximity with each other, has failed to die down. There were recent reports on how the two of them partied hard after the pack up of ongoing film “Raabta“.
Also when he was asked about Kriti, he quickly remarked “Kriti and I instantly bonded with each other”. He spoke how they had a natural chemistry with each other. As they say, there is no smoke without fire!
