‘Sardar Gabbar Singh’ Movie Review and Box-Office Collections Report

Telugu movie Sardar Gabbar Singh”, directed by K.S. Ravindra was released in India and across the world on Friday, April 8, 2016.

The Telugu action masala film has got great reviews amongst its Dubai audience. SGS is the first Telegu movie to be screened across 1500 theatres across the world.

The cast, Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles have got terrific response.The film written by Pawan Kalyan is a sequel to the 2012 hit movie, Gabbar Singh and will be released in other languages.

The plot revolves around a former princely state Rattanpur, wherein a coal mafia, Bhairon Singh (played by Sharad Kelkar) creates disturbance in the village.

Princess Arshi (Kajal Agarwal) plans to rescue the villagers from his havoc but instead, falls into the same trap. Meanwhile, an inspector, Sardar Gabbar Singh (Pawan Kalyan) is transferred to the village. Gabbar and Arshi fall in love and he pledges to put an end to the atrocities.

The first day collections are expected to break some sort of records. The stats are awaited. The collections details shal be updated here as soon as they are available.

The first half of the movie seems to show the typical attitude of Bhairon Singh troubling the villagers. The second half is very interesting and the action sequence at the climax steals the show.

Pawan Kalyan, a lenient cop, is seen joking around with Sher (played by Brahmanandam) in the movie. He then takes full charge to ward off evil from the village.

The fight in the climax sequence features approximately 80 fighters. Until the interval, the movie runs on entertainment mode and just after the interval, starts the serious part.

The much awaited chemistry between Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal managed to spell magic amongst the audience. According to the audience, Sharad Khelkar’s performance and Brahmanandam, Ali and Brahmaji’s comedy were great. Khelkar’s debut in the Telugu film industry is highly applauded.

The audience seems to be appreciating the Rs 70 crore film. The music composer Devi Sri Prasad and Arthur A Wilson’s cinematography, sophisticated weapons and beautiful locations made the overall experience enjoyable.
