Popular Indian actress Urmila Matondkar, tied the knot with Kashmir based model and businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir On March 03, 2016 in Mumbai.
This wedding took place at the Mumbai residence of Urmila, and it was a quite ceremony conducted according to Hindu rituals.
She got loads of wishes from all her friends in the film industry including the director and her former boyfriend, Ram Gopal Varma. This actress had shown some amazing performances in famous movies like “Kaun”, “Jungle”, “Daud”, “Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya”, “Bhoot”, “Satya” and “Rangeela”.
After the wedding, Urmila stated that the marriage was kept exclusive only to few friends and family at the celebration.
Since both the parents wanted this wedding to be a low-key affair, a mutual decision of keeping it private was taken.
She also stated that she needed everyone’s blessings while embarking on this new journey of her life.
However, not many are aware of the facts of her husband, Mir Mohsin Akhtar. Mir is a Kashmiri businessman. Even though they have a family business, Mir had the keenness of making a career in modeling.
He acted in movies too and played a significant role in the film “Mumbai Mast Kalandar” and “It’s a Man’s World”. Apart from these, he did some other lesser known movies too.
He is good friends with Manish Malhotra, the famous fashion designer, who also happens to be close to Urmila. Mir is aged 32, that is ten years younger than Urmila.
The wedding album of Urmila is doing rounds on the internet and some breathtaking moments have been captured. Although it wasn’t a grand affair, the marriage still seemed to be an exclusive one.
