Indian cricket ace Ravindra Jadeja walked the aisle with Rivaba Solanki, a mechanical engineer on Sunday, April 17. The three-day wedding ceremony will take place at Jadeja’s native village and Rajkot.
The couple got engaged on February 5 this year. The marriage will be attended by close family and friends. On April 16, Jadeja plans to host a party in Gujarat and on April 18 after the wedding on April 17, marriage celebrations in Jadeja’s native village Hadatoda in Jamnagar will be witnessed by the villagers.
Rivaba, daughter of businessman Hardevsihn Solanki is from Balagam village in Junagadh. Jadeja was in all praise for his in-laws after he recieved an Audi Q7 yesterday.
The ceremony ran into controversy after JAdeja’s relatives fired gunshots during the marriage procession. Police arrived at the spot and ordered an inquiry.

Jadeja represents Saurashtra in the game and Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was in the Indian U-19 cricket team and won the World Cup in Malaysia in 2008.
