Indian Team Spends time of leisure before the Calypso tour


The Indian cricket team spent a few time of relaxation in St.Kitts where they will play a couple of warm-up matches before starting a four test series against the Caribbean in Antigua from July 21, 2016.

The first warm-up game will be played on 9 and 10 July 2016 against the WICB President’s XI at Warner Park in St. Kitts. Leon Johnson will lead the West Indies side.

The series will be the first acid test for the newly appointed coach of the national team. The tour began on a somber note for the head coach when his baggage was left at Gatwick Airport by the British Airways.

The airlines, however made amend and promptly issued an apology to the world famous spinner. It is not for the first time that players from the home team had lost his baggage behind. Last year cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar was at the receiving end of the British Airlines inhospitality


It will be a very grueling tour since the Calypso brigade is at their fiercest in their home pitches. The team took out spent some time in leisure and soaked themselves in the beaches of the tear-shaped island.

The BCCI has splashed pictures of the players playing beach volleyball on the soft sand b of the Caribbean Island. One of the most protected and media shy sides of the world for once were not shy to flaunt their chiseled bodies including the debonair Virat Kohli. Don’t know what lady love Anushka will say when she sees chicks ogling at her beau’s chiseled physique.

They have also released a video with Stuart Binny, giving an account about the escapades of the home side.

He was quite at home with the task and why not since his better half is a well-known TV presenter. Another snap shows teammate resting after a sumptuous dinner.

Live Telecast of matches of this series in India will be done on DD National, Star Sports, Neo Cricket, and Star Cricket. Star Sports will beam the live coverage in other nations.

West Indies: Telecast of the matches in West Indies will be on Sky Sports.

Willow TV, Fox Sports, Ten Sports and all these channels will broadcast live Test matches in different countries.
