In January 26, 2016 when asked by a reporter as to if Hrithik Roshan played a hand in her name being dropped for Aashiqui 3, Kangana Ranaut was scathing, “Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don’t know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.”
This one single explosive confession of Kangana on entertainment website Pinksvilla produced one of the biggest Bollywood celebrity scandal of all time. Their ongoing battles seems to be coming to no end till date.
One thing that this drama can get credit for is that it has the right mix of allegation, defamation charges, extramarital affair, the saddening story of the ex and to top of it all it also has Asperger’s Syndrome.
But unlike every Bollywood story this story does not seem to faze out. Dirty laundries are being thrown from both side. If Kangana called him a ‘silly ex’ indirectly, Hrithik Roshan also took the indirect route of twitter handle to post this “There are more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (I m sure wonderful) women d media has been naming. Thanks but no thanks,” he wrote while not naming anyone.
It’s not like this is a newly started controversy, this rumour started doing the rounds when both the actors were shooting for Kite. Even though no formal comment were issued from both the side claiming to it, but both actors have been under the scanner for the same.
The legal notice began doing the round on February 2016, when Hrithik Roshan sent a formal notice to Kangana publicly apologise for her targeting him as the silly ex. He wanted her to say sorry for damaging his image in the public eye and would charge her with defamation if she did not apologise.
Reacting to this legal notice Kangana Ranaut issued a 21-page legal notice where she said that she nowhere mentioned his name and also charged Hrithik with criminal intimidation and threat.
Not letting the matter die, a number of messages sent by Kangana to Hrithik was made public on April 22. The messages contained some very explicit detail of Kangana undying love for Hrithik. In one of the email Kangana writes to him ‘Sometimes I feel so unsure of everything.
Does our love really exist or it’s just a fantasy? Is our love for real or is it an imaginary person that I talk to? Why don’t you ever talk to me? If our love is real, then why is it intangible? Real things are tangible, aren’t they? What if someday I meet you and you tell me that you haven’t received anything, you don’t even know me, you never loved me. What will I do then? Will I ever recover from that revelation of that fatal reality. Will I get another chance to start all over again? Or will my life just be a broken dream?”
In another mail she writes that ‘I get up in the morning and first thing I google you. Try to find one new picture, one new interview, any news to start my day. I hope this routine ends soon and instead of googling you I could make a call to you hear your voice talk to you and start my day (sic)…”
Whereas there is also a mail where she mentions about her having Asperger’s Syndrome.
But there is no official proof as to Hrithik Roshan replying back to any of the message. Clearly indicating that the affair was more of a one sided story. To let the matter not die on April 26 an image of Hrithik Roshan sharing an intimate moment with Kangana was leaked online. Clearly indicating that they did have some close proximity during the time.
Replying back to this intimate photo, Hrithik Roshan on April 27, said that the photo was cropped by sharing more photos from the party on that day.
There has been war going from both the side, if that was not all Kangana ex Adhyayan Suman has recently given an interview to DNA about how he supported Hrithik and that black magic on him. He also gave instance of how Kangana ex Aditya Pancholi has warned him about the same.
Even though in recent report Aditya Pancholi has officially refused to recognise the man. As of date there have been support for Hrithik from his ex-wife Suzanne, Karan Johar and other directors. But what is yet to be seen is any support for Kangana from Bollywood.
One thing that I totally refuse to belief is that this could be a publicity stunt done by them. Even the allegation by Adhyayan Suman as to she did black magic is little hard to digest in this time of the year.
In all this drama and fiasco, the question that remains to be asked is how long do this actor plan on to take the war. Both the actors are tremendously talented and have been a role model for the society. There have been people who have questioned on the fact had this been a role reversal where the actor would have blamed the actress how would the public response been.
But this is not the case, affairs and extramarital has always been talked in hushed tone in Bollywood. A number of well-established celebrities have been put under media scanner for the same. But this case can be credited for being the first of its kind case where it has brought out the ugly face of the Bollywood actor.
But on a very logical level I feel that no one party can be individually blamed for it. There has to be more to the picture than what is being seen till date.
