On March 2, 2016, Holly Willoughby suffered from an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while attending a charity function at the famous London residence of the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street. She revealed that while she was in the toilet, the zip of her body-fitting red dress split open.
The TV presenter posted the photo of this dress disaster on Instagram, which showed her zip cut open from top to bottom. Willoughby stated that this incident occurred after she arrived at the charity benefit that was held for aiding ‘Together For Short Lives’.
She added that as soon as she walked through the famous black door, she handed over the coat and gave away her phone since it is not allowed to take the phone inside. Holly says “My husband Dan felt the need to go the loo and so I said ‘Ok I would go to the bathroom too’, went there and heard this noise of my zip splitting open”.
Holly exclaims that this isn’t a little zip; it goes all the way from top to bottom, and now she was left in the toilet with no phone and no coat. She couldn’t even walk out since her bum was out. Finally, the next person who came to the bathroom rescued her and called her husband.
Dan, who went downstairs, told the majority of people he kept meeting along the way including the staff so that he could gather some safety pins. She had to walk all night in her coat. Last year in March, Susanna Reid, the Good Morning Britain host also suffered from an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when her dress just split out on air.
She had to go off the air and slip into a new dress. After returning she stated that a wardrobe malfunction is a very sweet way to so it so but in reality it was her dress that broke. During a news bulletin, her dress was completely split open from the back of it.
