Swathi was slapped repeatedly a week before her murder, eye witness

The whole Chennai City was pulled to a state of shock last week, as an Infosys techie named Swathi was murdered in broad daylight at the Nungambakkam railway station.

But now, on July 01, 2016, an exclusive revelation has been made by an eye witness which is expected to bring about positive results in the ongoing investigation.

The witness named T Tamilarasan stated that Swathi has been slapped many times by a man from the same station on June 06 or 07.

The witness used to travel from Nungambakkam station regularly, and he has noticed this incident in which a young man assaulted a lady brutally. Tamilarasan made this revelation through a Times of India interview, and he added that the man who slapped her was seen carrying a backpack.

Tamilarasan also revealed that the man who slapped her was fair or wheatish in color, and he is not the one who got captured on CCTV during the day of the murder.

As per the eyewitness, the man who slapped her was quite young, and Swathi literally collapsed after the incident.

But interestingly, the young lady did not react to the slaps, and after the incident, she quietly got into the next train. Tamilarasan who works as a teacher remembers that everybody questioned her for keeping silence during the time of the assault.

Remembering the day of the murder, the teacher told that he just had a glimpse of the murderer, as Swathi was standing a few meters away from him. He added that two people had chased the culprit, but he vanished soon.

Tamilarasan has given a detailed statement to the Investigative officers, and he has shown the guts to speak out in front of the media.

The witness told Times of India that justice should be served to Swathi at any cost.
