Ko 2 Tamil Action Thriller Movie Release, Expectations and Cast

Ko 2 is a Tamil action romance thriller currently running in packed theaters across South India. Directed by Sarath, the film has been released three days prior to Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. There were rumors among the film circles that the film will be a political thriller. However, the director confirmed that the film does not portray any on-going political controversies and will feature only action and romance in it.

While both Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani essaying the role of a journalist in their respective roles, the veteran Prakash Raj was seen playing a powerful politician. Raj was instrumental in playing such roles in several films such as Singham and he does a great job in this film as well. As usual, he is brilliant with his great dialogue delivery and face cuts.

Based on the Telugu film, Pratinidhi, and a sequel to 2011 blockbuster Ko, Simha feels that his character in the film more or less resembles his real life incidents.

Commenting on his role in Ko 2, Simha revealed that his character will surely establish connectivity with youths and students since the film primarily focuses on the importance of youth in politics. Moreover, the film lays stress on the growing need to create awareness in the social sector, which includes women empowerment.

Stating that his role in Ko 2 is a significant film in his film career, Simha said that his combination scenes with Raj will surely create a huge impact among youths under 30 years of age.

Distributed under the banner of RS Infotainment, Bala Saravanan, John Vijay and Illavarasu also plays crucial roles in the film. Produced by Elred Kumar and Jayaraman, Leon James renders music for all the five beautiful songs including the one-minute theme song.

Ko 2 will be released on May 13 in more than 300 theaters across Tamil Nadu and also in Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, Nikki Galrani was seen in several Malayalam films, which includes the blockbuster Vellimoonga with Biju Menon in the lead.
