‘Disney’ star Joey Cramer arrested for Scotiabank robbery in Canada

Joey Cramer, former “Disney” Child artist and “Stone Fox” star has been arrested for the alleged bank robbery in Canada.

Charged with robbing a Scotiabank based in British Columbia, Cramer was found wearing a shoulder-length wig, bandana, and jacket made in dark color.

According to Police sources, Cramer robbed an undisclosed amount of cash in broad daylight on April 28 at 3 PM and was taken into custody from Gibsons on Sunday. By the time police officers arrived at the scene within minutes, the suspect had fled the scene.

Even though a massive manhunt has been launched to catch the culprit, police could not locate the suspect initially. It seems that police might have used the mobile tower location to identify the culprit.

Cramer, who was arrested on Sunday has been charged with robbery, disguise with the deliberate attempt to commit an offense. Moreover, he was also charged with attempting to stop the work carried out by a security officer including a dangerous operation using a motor vehicle.

Cramer was produced before a magistrate and remanded to judicial custody. His next court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday in a local court in North Vancouver.

Even though Cramer used disguise during the robbery, the police officers were quick enough to catch the suspect. This is because he was recently questioned by few police officers in another case, which is not related to the robbery. Hence, the officers figured out the culprit from the captured images and video footages.

According to Harrison Mohr, a constable attached to Sunshine Coast RCMP, the citizens living nearby the area were in a state of shock after the incident.

The community is feeling safe now since the prime suspect has been caught much earlier than expected. Mohr stated that none of the staff or customers was injured during the robbery attempt.
