In September 2014, we saw Apple launching its two new flagship smartphones the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. These products were marketed by the Cupertino-based tech firm after almost a year of speculations regarding Apple’s decision of selling bigger versions of its iPhones.
Now, Apple fans around the globes are waiting for the successors of the two iPhone models launched last year. Rumors are suggesting that the year 2015 will see the tech biggie launch as many as three new smartphone models namely iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6C.
Due to their bigger screen sizes, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be phablets. The iPhone 6C, on the other hand, will be an affordable version of the iPhone 6; it will be smaller in size, and will also have lower specifications compared to the other recent models of iPhone. Its processor will be less potent compared to its immediate predecessors.
Reports are suggesting that Apple might launch the iPhone 6C in September 2015. As mentioned above, it will not be as advanced as the recently released iPhone models. However, you can expect to get some of the most promising Apple features in it. Examples include the fingerprint scanner. In addition, the device will also support the newly launched digital payment platform Apple Pay.
According to sources close to the company, the iPhone 6C will come with a sturdy polycarbonate construction. It is the same construction used in the colorful iPhone 5C launched in 2013.
The iPhone 6 has a screen size of 4.7 inches; the iPhone 6C will be smaller and will possess a 4 inch display.
Another exciting feature the upcoming version of iPhone is expected to possess is a digital camera boasting a light splitter. Reports suggest that Apple has recently been granted the patent for this special camera. This patent will allow the tech giant to incorporate a camera module containing three-sensor prisms into chassis of thin wireless devices such as iPhones.
This new camera technology will definitely boost the phone’s camera quality and will ensure that users get better results as far as colors are concerned even when clicking picture or capturing videos amid lowlight conditions.
Reports are suggesting that the iPhone 6C has been designed primarily keeping the female fans of Apple in mind and will be priced between $400 and $500.
