The Duchess of Sussex has returned to the halls of the private school she attended in Hollywood from the ages of 12 to 17, surprising the current students and reminiscing about the pivotal time in her life.
Meghan Markle has returned to her old school Immaculate Heart in Hollywood, California for the latest episode of Archetypes – surprising excited students with an announced visit.
The Duchess of Sussex kicked off the latest instalment of her hit podcast titled “Beyond the Archetype: Human, Being” by wandering the halls of the private school she attended from the ages of 12 to 17.
“Isn’t it a pretty campus?,” she said to her team, as they walked through the campus which is one block away from Hollywood Boulevard.
“Oh, my gosh, how funny. My locker was right over here. I was somewhere smack in the middle.”

The 41-year-old California-living royal said she wanted to “revisit” the place that was “a large piece of my origin story”.
In the second-last episode of the series which is due to wrap up next week, the mother-of-two said the energy there was “palpable.”
“I was happy to be back there, and it was also really fun especially when I made a surprise visit and I popped into some of the young ladies in volleyball practice.”
The former Suits actress also chatted to three of this year’s graduates – Abigail, Diana, and Grace – about the labels that are thrown around by teens today compared to 25 years ago.
Meghan asked the trio about the “dumb blonde” and “bimbo” stereotypes,  which she addressed in a recent episode of Archetypes with socialite and businesswoman Paris Hilton.
One replied she had never heard of the term “bimbo” except for on TikTok.
“She’s only ever heard the word on TikTok? I mean, talk about aging myself,” the Duchess of Sussex commented.
“This idea of the bimbo and dumb blonde, this was something that I grew up seeing all the time. And here we go they hadn’t.”
Later in the episode she also spoke about about how women are “vilified” for exploring their sexuality, while men are often “heralded” for their actions.
“A man, if he is a player out having fun or whatever he’s doing – it’s often celebrated. Even heralded,” the California-living royal said while chatting to trans actress and singer Michaela Jaé Rodriguez.
“But for a woman, I don’t care if she’s perhaps the most successful woman in finance in her mid-50s, I promise you, someone will still go: ‘But she was such a sl*t in college’.”
