Indian Team Spends time of leisure before the Calypso tour

The Indian cricket team spent a few time of relaxation in St.Kitts where they will play a couple of warm-up matches before starting a four test series against the Caribbean in Antigua from July 21, 2016.

The first warm-up game will be played on 9 and 10 July 2016 against the WICB President’s XI at Warner Park in St. Kitts. Leon Johnson will lead the West Indies side.

The series will be the first acid test for the newly appointed coach of the national team. The tour began on a somber note for the head coach when his baggage was left at Gatwick Airport by the British Airways.

The airlines, however made amend and promptly issued an apology to the world famous spinner. It is not for the first time that players from the home team had lost his baggage behind. Last year cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar was at the receiving end of the British Airlines inhospitality

It will be a very grueling tour since the Calypso brigade is at their fiercest in their home pitches. The team took out spent some time in leisure and soaked themselves in the beaches of the tear-shaped island.

The BCCI has splashed pictures of the players playing beach volleyball on the soft sand b of the Caribbean Island.
