Mazda also made the inside of the MX-5 Miata more comfortable. Improved seats, which use a material other than foam for padding create a really great fit. Drivers have said repeatedly already that the fit of this vehicle is more like a glove than any of the other vehicles that Mazda has put out to this point. In essence, it’s a good stepping stone for a company that is looking to break out of its shell now that it has a good solid groundwork.

The vehicle will be available in manual and automatic options, which will definitely open the door for more than the “exclusive group,” which would typically own this car. At the end of the day, this is about delivering a vehicle that can measure up to the higher-end performance cars, while still maintaining a fair price point, with some efficiency to go along with it. Mazda says that the MX-5 Miata is the most-efficient vehicle that they have ever produced at the performance or roadster level, so it will be a matter of waiting to see where things stand down the road.
