Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her first appearance of 2016 at the Cannes Red Carpet. The 42-year-old actor looked stunning at Festival De Cannes, wearing a gown by Kuwait designer Ali Younes. The actress in her beaded cape couture gown not only dazzled the entire crowd. But to make her look more profound she added bold turquoise blue liner giving it a Smokey blue eyeshadow with bold lashes.
Even though the actress has been under the scanner earlier for making some bad clothes choices in Cannes but this latest selection has gotten the approval of the fashion pandit.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is the face of L’Oreal Paris represented the brand at Cannes. The Festival started on Thursday and will come to an end on 21st. She was attending the screening of the film La Moute.
The goddess who made her debut in Cannes in 2002 for the screening of her film Devdas, celebrated her 15 years of being one of the biggest representatives of India at Festival De Cannes. The actress has been quite caught up with the promotion of her new movie ‘Sarabjit’ and was looking forward to promoting the film at Cannes which she feels is one of the biggest platform for any movie promotion.
Two days before the Cannes Festival, the actress shared on a social platform that she was quite caught up with the promotion of her new film and did not have the time to finalise on what she will be wearing at the Cannes.
“Cannes Festival is two days away and I still don’t know what I am wearing. You guys can troll me as much as you want but the fact is I have just been too busy,’’ she said.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was there at Cannes with her daughter Aaradhya and mother Brinda Rai. But Randeep Hooda could not accompany the beautiful actress for the promotion of ‘Sarabjit’ as he had recently been operated for appendicitis and was advised by the doctor not to travel.
