Samsung Launches Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge In India

 

Samsung India has launched its two latest smartphones Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7on March 08, 2016 at an event in New Delhi. These devices were recently unveiled at MWC in Barcelona and they have been brought to India very soon keeping in mind its popularity in the market.

Both the devices would go on sale from March 18, 2016 with a price tag of Rs. 48,900 and Rs.56,900 for 32GB variants. Pre-registrations have been started and those customers who pre-book it latest by March 17, 2016 would get a Galaxy VR device along with free with the booked smartphone. You can avail these smartphones in 3 different colors- Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum and Black Onyx.

Both the phones are constructed with Metal and 3D glass- all in sleek design with ergonomic curves and durability for a comfortable grip. The handsets come with Dual Pixel rear cameras, 4 GB RAM, dust resistance and water resistance and Super-AMOLED display. The platform on which the devices run is Marshmallow OS.

Both Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are powered by (2.3GHz quad-core + 1.6GHz quad-core) processor coupled with 4GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 32GB. While Galaxy S7 is fueled by a 3600mAh battery, S7 is fueled by a 3000mAh battery.

Both the handsets sport a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. Samsung states that Dual Pixel Camera has been introduced to deliver sharper and brighter images, even in low light. A new camera mode has been introduced namely Motion Panorama, which brings movement to traditional panoramic photos and gives an immersive visual experience to the users.

Both the models support MST payment, NFC and 4G LTE technologies.
