Prithviraj Sukumaran, dubbed as handsome Malayalam actor, is back with the much-awaited movie “James & Alice”.
Directed by debutant Sujith Vasudev, the film, released all over India on May 5 features Vedhika as Alice. Sai Kumar also plays a crucial role in the movie, probably as the father of Prithviraj.
The movie which was on limelight for past few months highlights the misunderstanding between a couple who belongs to two different fields. While Prithviraj, who works in the Advertising field, portrays the role of James, Vedhika plays the role of Alice in the movie and works in the banking sector.
Even though both of them falls in love and marries each other against the wishes of their parents, they face serious problems in busy real life, and the film makes an attempt to showcase the difficulties in a unique way. James & Alice also feature Parvathy Nair and leading TV actress Kishore Sathya in the major roles.

Produced by Dr. S Saji Kumar and Krishnan Sethukumar, the story of the film has been coined by Sujith Vasudev himself in addition to cinematography coupled with direction. We remind the veteran film actor Balachandra Menon, at this point, who also handles all the major parts of his movie on his own.
However, the story and screenplay have been written by Dr. S. Janardhanan, who had previously directed “Mahasamudram” with Mohanlal and “Sahasram” with Suresh Gopi in the lead.
While Smith Mhd handles the editing department, the award-winning music composer Gopi Sunder gave life to the music segment of James & Alice.
Distributed by Srivari Films, Sujith Vasudev, and Vedhika has acted together in the film together in “Kaaviya Thalaivan” along with Prithviraj, although there is no face to face working between each other.

Son of Veteran actor, Sukumaran, Prithviraj entered the film industry by acting in acclaimed director Ranjith’s award winning “Nandanam”. He also served like a tough police officer in Vinayan’s “Sathyam” followed by “Vaasthavam” in 2006, which fetched him the Kerala State Award for Best Actor of 2006.
