Kesha Looks Radiant in Teaser Video of ‘True Colors’

Singers going on a long hiatus and turning up unexpectedly is not new for the ‘City of Angels’, neither are litigations and hefty lawsuits a rare proceed among Hollywood Boulevard residents.

But turning up after a long hibernation while you still have to present yourself before the judge in a court of law is a feat not achieved by all.

Kesha’s last album Warrior came out in 2012 and the long wait of her fans takes a nap with the release of her latest track ‘True Colours’.

‘True Colours’ is a re-recorded title track of Zedd’s 2015 album. The Nashville girl, Kesha and Russian-German Grammy winner, Zedd collaborated for the track which releases on Friday.

Kesha tweeted a teaser of the music video for the track with the caption “this is more than a song. it’s a declaration of my truth ‪#‎truecolors”.

The 39-second teaser has Kesha hopping around merrily amidst flowers in a pink leotard which matches her mane which is more or less the same shade.

Now about the litigations, Kesha filed a lawsuit against Sony and producer Dr. Luke accusing the latter of physically, sexually, and verbally assaulting her. Kesha was also denied the request to be released from Sony’s contract by a judge recently.

Kesha’s contract with Sony denies her the permission to work with other producers, this points a finger Kesha’s latest release.

Well, as it turns out Dr. Luke’s production house Kemosabe Records permits Kesha to release the song. This information came to light when Zedd tweeted, “Just to clarify: We didn’t use any loop holes. Kemosabe / RCA gave us permission to release this song!”

All we can hope for is “True Colours” to be amazing.
