Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman Divorce after 3 years of marriage

Actress Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman have called it quits after nearly four years of marriage.

The parents of two daughters aged three and 23 months, reportedly were in a relationship since 2011 after Barrymore’s on and off affair with Justin Long.

The couple got engaged in January 2012 and married just a few months later. Though their relationship was not a smooth sail, Barrymore is said to have enjoyed her marriage and was happy becoming a Kopelman.

Parenting took their relationship to another level after the birth of their daughters Olive and Frankie, with Barrymore thinking to step away from Hollywood.

As per the sources, the couple has had marriage issues for a while and thus mutually decided to part ways. The couple is planning to stay in New York City and apparently said to be working on their daughters living arrangements.

Barrymore has been in praise of Kopelman on being a great father to their daughters.  She had earlier admitted even though being ‘polar opposites’, she admired Kopelman for donning fatherhood in an excellent manner.

The couple was last photographed on January 21 at a benefit for the Komansky Center for Children’s Health at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Just a day before to their split, on March 31st, Barrymore posted few photographs boasting her new tattoo inked on her wrist with her daughter’s names.

This is Barrymore’s third and apparently the longest marriage. She was previously married to Jeremy Thomas, bartender for two months in 1994 and comedian Tom Green for five months in 2001.

Drew Barrymore once said, “it was never really loved at first sight” with Kopelman.

No reason for this split has officially been announced as the sources did not wish to comment.
